Recently, the three-pointed star marque featured its two fully-customized trucks at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The models that starred in the show were the Mercedes-Benz Antos and Actros with interiors modified to function as mobile homes.
Vario Alkoven 1200
This is based from the Mercedes-Benz Antos platform. The maker dubbed its interior as the “dreamterior” due to the luxurious and dreamy features found within its living quarters. It offers tailor-made cast stone bathroom, kitchen, high-end upholstery on the couch, and a couple of top-of-the-line furniture. Then, it has two hydraulic operated extension bays for increasing the living room and bedroom spaces as well as top-notch entertainment system, gadgetry and comfort features that include two 32-inch flatscreen TVs, washing machine with dryer, central vacuum cleaner, camera system focused on the door exterior, 1200 Ah batteries, 6,000 W power inverter, 390-liter diesel tank, and 500 liters of potable water. It even has its own garage that could fit a Mercedes-Benz SLK.
The Vario Alkoven 1200 Mercedes-Benz Antos is powered by a six-cylinder engine capable of giving off up to 428 hp.
Concorde Centurion 1200
This camper truck based on the Mercedes-Benz Actros is astonishing. It has the same lavish elements as the Vario Alkoven 1200. It has excellent furniture, upholstery, tech and entertainment system with qualities at par to the customized Antros. For short, it is a yatch on wheels too.
