A few hours ago Mercedes-Benz officially confirmed the output of its enhanced C-Class. According to the German marque, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is its most powerful car as of the moment, even topping the newly-unveiled Mercedes-AMG GT.

The three-pointed star brand stated that its new generation C63 AMG would be carrying a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine similar to the Mercedes-AMG GT. Despite the same engine, the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will have an output higher than the new sports car solely developed by AMG. The C63 AMG is capable of producing up to 503 hp with a whopping 700 Nm of torque.

The company claimed the power of the car would enable it to achieve a sprint of zero to 62 mph in less than 4.2 seconds, which is a record currently held by the existing Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series.

Other technical details of the new Mercedes C63 AMG are withheld by the luxury car maker right now. These are expected to be officially revealed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show though, which will be held late this month.

As for the pricing of the range-topping car, Mercedes-Benz has not disclosed the figures that buyers could expect from its upcoming C63 AMG. Based on several reports online, the cost for the new variant will be announced early next year. It is speculated though that the car would be offered at a price lesser than its major rival’s BMW M3 sedan and BMW M4 coupe.
