Daimler AG buys stake in engine manufacturer - Tognum

Daimler achieves EBIT of $3 billion in first quarter of 2008

Daimler AG today presents its interim report on the first quarter of 2008. Daimler achieved EBIT (Earnings before interest and taxes) of €1,976 million ($3.082 billion) in the first quarter (Q1 2007: €3,292 million).
