Auto123 has another great review about the 2007 S-class for us, but this time, they are reviewing the 4Matic version. Just like with the last review, they like it a lot. I am not surprised at their reaction, considering everyone that has reviewed it, had only positive things to say, well other than the haters out there. Here is a small quote that sums it up.

On the twisty Adirondack roads, the big car belies its formidable size with nimbleness dreamt of by cars half its size. The S-Class’ steering starts out light but quickly weighs up to provide proper assistance for negotiating mountain roads. The brakes perform admirably well but suffer from the same lack of communication as other Benzes.

  1. This car is no doubt a technical marvel. But the real issue for recent years for MB is reliability. How are we to be assured that MB has finally resolved this issue satisfactorily? The basic premise of a car remains the same as it always has: it must get you from Point A to Point B reliably; the frills are icing on that cake.

  2. Just today, Consumer Report, had Mercedes at the bottom of the list. While Mercedes has improved reliability in newest generation, according to many sources, we won’t really know for sure until a couple of years from now. Anything can get you from point A to point B, even a bicycle, but how satisfied will you be is a question of enjoyment. I believe Mercedes delivers that satisfaction with luxury and performance.
